Who we advise Owners selling all or part of a Saudi company, including to private equity or a strategic buyer. Investors and companies from Saudi Arabia, the GCC and abroad buying a business in the Kingdom. Family groups planning a merger, a partial exit or a handover to the next generation. Sell-side M&A We value the business, prepare the information memorandum, approach buyers confidentially, run the offer process and negotiate price, structure and terms, then manage due diligence through to closing. Buy-side M&A We define what you want to buy, search beyond public listings, screen targets, value them, lead the approach and negotiation, and coordinate financial, legal, zakat and tax due diligence before you sign. What changes in a Saudi deal Foreign buyers need an investment licence from the Ministry of Investment (MISA), and some activities have ownership limits. Larger deals must be approved by the General Authority for Competition before closing. Saudi and GCC shareholders are generally subject to zakat, while foreign shareholders pay corporate income tax, which affects how the deal is structured. We work with Saudi legal and tax advisors on every deal. Your M&A team Deals are led by our M&A advisors, including Syed Fareed Afzal, Amir Joshan and Susan Daniel, with financial due diligence by Saharnaz Farajollahi and Nima Nickooii. You can read each advisor's background on our people page. Not sure what the business is worth? Start with our free valuation calculator or a market value assessment.
